The physical box office is open approximately 1 hour prior to showtimes. Ticket availability is not guaranteed. To purchase advanced tickets, please order online.
Online
Tickets are released approximately one month prior to opening night. Advanced tickets are only available online and may be purchased through our website. Please download your tickets to a mobile device or print them for entry into the theater.
Ticket Fees
All tickets purchased with a credit/debit card are subject to a small convenience fee per ticket charged by the ticketing company. No convenience fees are charged when purchasing tickets in person using cash during the box office’s regular hours (opening approximately 1 hour prior to showtimes) .
Lost or Misplaced Tickets
Please download your tickets and have them available upon entry into the theater. If you can't find your tickets, please arrive early for a reprint or manual check-in. Picture ID may be required.
Refund Policy
All sales are final and may not be refunded or exchanged. However, due to the nature of the performing arts, programs and artists are subject to change. Refunds are given ONLY in the case of an event cancellation or date change.
In the event of a performance cancellation or rescheduling, purchases on a credit card will be refunded to the original card on which the purchase was made.
Tickets Purchased by Third Parties
The ONLY safe place to purchase tickets to Star Theater events is from the box office in one of two ways: online through our official website(historicstartheater.com) or in-person.
Tickets purchased from an unauthorized source may be lost, stolen, counterfeit or in violation of resale policies and if so, are VOID. The Star Theater strongly discourages the purchase of tickets from unauthorized sources and reminds you that scalping a ticket is illegal in the state of Kentucky (see KRS 518.070). We encourage you to protect yourself and always purchase tickets through the authorized ticket agents listed above.
We cannot guarantee the validity of tickets purchased elsewhere, and therefore, admittance to a performance is not guaranteed.
Seating Chart
The Star Theater utilizes assigned seating. During checkout, you will get to select your own seats for your performance. Patrons are expected to sit in their assigned seating, which is printed clearly on both digital and physical tickets.
